The National Agency for Public Procurement launches in public consultation the first Guide of Good Practices dedicated to the acquisition of Medical Devices, developed in collaboration with AmCham Romania (American Chamber of Commerce in Romania), in a common project assumed by the two entities during the past year.
The document is conceived as a practical working tool that includes along with the published guidelines regarding the procurement in the field of medical technologies/medical devices, a set of general good practice principles and rules, applicable in the process of planning and organizing public procurement procedures of products from the category of medical devices.
This document will serve as a practical guideline for staff working in the public procurement department/administrative service of the health unit, and also for staff employed in a national mechanism for providing medical services or dealing with the provision of a transparent and well-managed procurement service for the institutions in the health field.
